As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in helping patients maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide medication reminders and support with light medication management.
- Assist with mobility and transfer techniques to ensure client safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Document daily care activities and report any changes in the client's condition to the nurse supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting and assisting patients.
