- Leverage Epic EMR and NextGen software for coding and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians to ensure precise CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Manage denied claims appeals and follow-up with payors
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance in all patient data handling
- Train junior billing staff on best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of medical billing experience in outpatient settings
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials required
- Expertise in commercial insurance (Blue Cross, UnitedHealthcare)
- Advanced knowledge of CMS-1500 and UB-04 forms
