Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics to ensure patient safety.
- Monitor and report changes in patient health, behavior, or vital signs to the nursing supervisor.
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Administer medications as directed by the RN or physician.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Document daily care activities and patient progress accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Florida.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
