Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Document patient care and report changes to clinical staff
- Transport patients to medical appointments when needed
- Maintain a safe, clean home environment for clients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly/disabled
- Reliable transportation to client locations
- Willingness to complete state certification during training
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
