As a Home Health Aide, you will be the bridge of hope for our patients, assisting them with daily living activities and ensuring they live with dignity and comfort in their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and light exercises as prescribed by a nurse.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning.
- Monitor clients' daily health status, reporting any changes or concerns immediately.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping, or social events.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishwashing to ensure a safe environment.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to perform caregiving duties (lifting, bending, standing for long periods).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
