Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Monitor and report changes in the patient's physical or mental condition to the nursing staff.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to ensure the client feels valued and safe.
- Transport patients to medical appointments, shopping, or social events as needed.
- Administer medications and document care logs accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
