Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Manage digital radiography systems and ensure diagnostic image quality
- Implement OSHA/CDC protocols for infection control and sterilization
- Train and mentor junior assistants on practice workflows and patient protocols
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Coordinate patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Maintain precise dental charting using Eaglesoft software
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Dental Assistant License (CDA) or DANB certification required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Advanced knowledge of dental instruments and equipment
- Proven experience with digital radiography and intraoral cameras
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software
