Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex restorative procedures
- Manage digital radiography and CBCT imaging systems
- Oversee sterilization protocols and infection control
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants
- Coordinate patient education and treatment planning
- Maintain digital patient records and inventory
- Assist with dental emergencies and sedation cases
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB-registered
- 3+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital imaging (X-ray, intraoral)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Exceptional communication and patient rapport skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
