Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and orthodontics
- Manage digital radiography (X-rays) and intraoral imaging systems
- Implement OSHA-compliant sterilization protocols and infection control
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants on clinical workflows
- Manage patient education on oral hygiene procedures
- Coordinate with dental labs for prosthetic fabrication
- Maintain accurate digital patient records in Dentrix/Eaglesoft
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant Radiology License (RAD)
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB preferred
- Advanced knowledge of dental materials and equipment
- Exceptional chairside manner with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability
