Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery, implants, and restorative treatments
- Manage digital radiography (X-rays) and intraoral imaging with precision
- Oversee sterilization protocols and infection control compliance
- Lead patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
- Maintain digital patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants
- Coordinate treatment planning and lab communication
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience in a busy practice
- Current DANB certification and Florida radiology license
- Advanced knowledge of dental instruments and procedures
- Experience with digital radiography and Eaglesoft software
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Proven leadership ability in a dental team setting
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
