Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control procedures
- Take accurate dental radiographs and impressions
- Oversee patient flow and chairside assistance coordination
- Maintain digital dental records using Eaglesoft software
- Train new assistants on clinic protocols and equipment
- Order inventory and manage supply chain efficiency
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in radiography and infection control standards
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Cerident software
- BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Associates degree in Dental Assisting preferred
