Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including implants, veneers, and orthodontics
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant treatment rooms
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering
- Train new assistants on practice protocols and equipment
- Deliver exceptional patient education and comfort measures
- Coordinate with lab technicians for prosthetic workflows
Qualifications
- Active RDA license in California required
- Minimum 3 years experience in cosmetic/general dentistry
- Certification in nitrous oxide monitoring and radiology
- Mastery of digital imaging software (e.g., Dexis, Carestream)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Experience with dental practice management software (Epic, Dentrix)
- Proven track record of improving patient satisfaction scores
