Responsibilities
- Perform chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and restorations
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Oversee sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Train new dental assistants on clinic workflows and technologies
- Coordinate patient education and treatment plan explanations
- Maintain precise dental charting and digital record management
- Assist in inventory control and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Advanced proficiency in dental imaging software (e.g., Dexis, Schick)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
