Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Perform chairside duties: suctioning, instrument transfer, and patient comfort management
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control compliance
- Capture and process dental radiographs with precision
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering
- Train new dental assistants on clinic protocols
- Maintain accurate digital patient records using Eaglesoft software
Qualifications
- Current Texas RDA certification or DANB certification
- Minimum 3 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Advanced knowledge of dental radiography and infection control
- Experience with digital imaging systems (Eaglesoft preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification from recognized provider
- Proven ability to manage high-volume patient flow
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred
