Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions for 50+ daily patients
- Lead inventory management of 1,500+ SKUs with zero-error protocols
- Train and mentor 3-4 junior technicians on HIPAA compliance and sterile compounding
- Manage third-party insurance claims processing for 100+ daily transactions
- Implement new pharmacy software systems and optimize workflow efficiency
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to resolve prescription discrepancies
- Maintain sterile compounding area for IV medications under USP 797 standards
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician license (CPhT)
- 2+ years experience in retail or hospital pharmacy settings
- Certified in sterile compounding (ASHP preferred)
- Expertise in pharmacy software (QS1, Omnicell, or similar)
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero medication error history
- Strong leadership skills with team management experience
- Ability to work efficiently during high-volume prescription peaks
- Basic knowledge of pharmacology and drug interactions
