Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Assist customers with medication inquiries and provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
- Manage inventory, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and performing monthly stock counts.
- Input patient and prescription data accurately into the pharmacy management system (e.g., Rx30, Pioneer).
- Verify insurance information, process co-pays, and handle returns/exchanges efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment in full compliance with health regulations.
- Assist in compounding medications and preparing IVs when required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Willingness to participate in our structured paid training program (no prior experience necessary).
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and typing proficiency.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
