Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and verify their identity and insurance information upon arrival.
  • Prepare patients for examination by assisting with draping and positioning.
  • Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Assist physicians and nurse practitioners during clinical procedures.
  • Prepare and administer medications as directed by providers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Instruct patients on post-procedure care and medications as prescribed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Medical Assistant (MA) certification preferred, but we offer training for qualified candidates.
