Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, injections, and wound care
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient flow and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment per OSHA standards
- Coordinate patient education and discharge instructions
- Handle lab specimen processing and basic lab testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) and California state license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or Athena preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient volumes and schedules
- Spanish bilingual proficiency strongly preferred
