Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Perform basic clinical tasks (vitals, injections, EKGs)
- Manage patient records using electronic health systems
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Support patient education and discharge procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- No prior medical experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency
- Willingness to complete paid training program
- Background check and drug screen required
- CPR certification (provided if not already certified)
