Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during medical procedures.
- Perform vital sign assessments, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain accurate patient documentation.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and referrals.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Proficiency in phlebotomy and EKG procedures.
- Strong computer skills and experience with electronic medical records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
