Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and basic screenings accurately and efficiently.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers with examinations and procedures.
- Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) with strict adherence to HIPAA compliance.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and order medical supplies.
- Communicate effectively with patients via phone and email regarding test results and appointments.
- Administer vaccinations and medications under the direct supervision of a licensed provider.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Associate degree in Medical Assisting from an accredited institution.
- Current CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) certification preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or administrative medical setting.
- Proficient in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Strong computer literacy and typing skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
