Responsibilities
- Perform basic patient assessments and measure vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse).
- Prepare patients for examinations by assisting with history taking and specimen collection.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
- Update and maintain patient medical records and charts accurately and confidentially.
- Assist providers during examinations with procedural support and equipment sterilization.
- Manage front desk reception duties, including patient scheduling and check-in processes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced medical setting.
- Reliable transportation and proof of eligibility to work in the USA.
- Willingness to obtain Medical Assistant certification if not already held.
