Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital sign measurement, and medical history documentation
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries
- Administer medications, injections, and immunizations per protocols
- Prepare and process laboratory specimens and perform basic lab tests
- Maintain electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Manage appointment scheduling and administrative workflows
Qualifications
- Accredited Medical Assistant program graduate or equivalent experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification and state MA credentials
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Exceptional communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations
