Responsibilities

- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Resolve claim denials and billing discrepancies
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Generate monthly billing reports for leadership review
- Coordinate with clinical staff for documentation accuracy
- Manage accounts receivable follow-up procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with claim scrubbing software
- Pittsburgh-based candidates strongly preferred
