Responsibilities
- Manage patient check-in/check-out processes with efficiency and warmth
- Schedule appointments across multiple specialties using Epic EMR
- Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays accurately
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records and confidentiality
- Coordinate with clinical staff for patient flow optimization
- Handle multi-line phone system with professional etiquette
- Process billing paperwork and assist with insurance claims
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain reception area cleanliness
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Strong customer service orientation with problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- Attention to detail with data entry accuracy
- Basic medical terminology knowledge (or willingness to learn)
