Responsibilities
- Manage patient check-in/check-out procedures efficiently
- Schedule appointments using EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Verify insurance coverage and collect co-pays
- Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality
- Coordinate with clinical staff for patient flow
- Handle billing inquiries and insurance claims
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years medical reception experience
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic, Athena)
- Strong communication & customer service skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- CPR certification preferred
- Local Hawaii residency required
