Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor and document vital signs and resident conditions
- Assist with mobility and transfer using proper techniques
- Administer medications under RN supervision
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergencies
- Maintain clean, organized resident environments
- Collaborate with nursing team during shift transitions
Qualifications
- Active Minnesota CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience preferred
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper mechanics
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Basic computer proficiency for charting systems
