Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, accurately.
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and safety equipment.
- Communicate changes in resident condition or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for residents.
- Participate in care planning meetings and adhere to individualized care plans.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA License.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience in a long-term care or home health setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
