Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and needs.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition in accordance with facility policies.
Qualifications
- Current and active California CNA Certification (CNA 1).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to various locations in San Diego.
- Previous experience in a home health or hospital setting is preferred but not required.
