- Submit and follow up on insurance claims for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
- Review and code medical procedures using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
- Resolve billing discrepancies through patient and insurer communication
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Generate daily/weekly reports for revenue cycle analysis
- Utilize Epic or EHR systems for patient data management
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate documentation
Qualifications
- 1+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Proficiency in medical coding (ICD-10, CPT)
- Knowledge of insurance claim processes and denial resolution
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
