Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare, label, and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and tracking pharmaceutical supplies
- Maintain precise patient records and prescription documentation in compliance with state regulations
- Assist patients with medication counseling and OTC product recommendations
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve prescription discrepancies
Qualifications
- Active Kansas Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility
- 1+ years of hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Certification through PTCB or ExCPT required
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and drug interactions
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
