Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Operate automated dispensing systems and compounding equipment (provided)
- Maintain digital inventory records and reorder supplies
- Process insurance claims and manage patient billing systems
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations
- Assist with sterile compounding and IV preparation when needed
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility
- Completion of accredited pharmacy tech program or equivalent experience
- Experience with pharmacy automation systems (equipment provided)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy software
- CPR certification preferred (training provided)
