Responsibilities
- Process and verify prescription orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and labeling of medications.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions about medications.
- Perform clinical tasks such as medication therapy management (MTM) screenings.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by PTCB or ExCPT (required).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for occasional deliveries).
