As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patients receive the medications they need safely and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacist in preparing and packaging prescription medications.
- Receive and verify prescription orders from customers and healthcare providers.
- Operate pharmacy computer systems to process insurance claims accurately.
- Stock shelves and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with health regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving issues.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Willingness to obtain Florida Pharmacy Technician certification (training provided).
