Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Ensure compliance with DEA, FDA, and state pharmacy regulations
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software
- Assist with sterile compounding and IV admixtures (post-certification)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and math skills
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, pharmacy software training provided)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Customer service mindset with excellent communication skills
- Must commit to completing the 4-week training program
- Texas Pharmacy Technician license required post-training (we sponsor)
