Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications to patients accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare prescription labels, package, and assemble medication bottles according to strict standards.
- Manage inventory, including receiving shipments, checking stock levels, and restocking shelves.
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage before processing prescriptions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient inquiries regarding medications and health questions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with health regulations.
- Perform basic clerical duties such as filing and data entry.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be willing to complete a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Reliable transportation to the training facility in Oakland, CA.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
