Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments using Emergency Severity Index (ESI) protocols
- Delegate cases appropriately to physicians and medical teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EHR systems
- Provide critical patient education and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for optimal outcomes
- Handle high-stress situations with calm professionalism
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license in good standing
- Minimum 3 years ED or urgent care triage experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Expertise in ESI and emergency protocols
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong proficiency with electronic health records
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- BSN or higher preferred
