Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse medical units including ICU, ER, and oncology
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient vitals
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with evidence-based practices
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to unit safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Maryland with no disciplinary actions
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with 2+ years experience)
- ACLS/BLS certifications required; PALS/NRP preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in a hospital setting
- Expertise in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Strong interpersonal abilities for effective patient/staff communication
