Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Document patient care plans, progress notes, and medical histories accurately and timely using EMR systems.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the broader interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile environment to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Life Support (PALS) preferred based on specialty.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment while maintaining a high standard of care.
