Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the wider healthcare team to develop optimal care plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately, timely, and completely in the EHR.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical incidents.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
