Responsibilities
- Monitor Patient Health: Observe, record, and report patient vital signs and symptoms to the nursing team and physicians.
- Administer Care: Provide direct patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living, hygiene, and mobility.
- Medication Management: Accurately administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records and patient charts in compliance with hospital standards.
- Collaboration: Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to patient needs and assist during emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida (FL) or eligible for multi-state licensure (Compact State).
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Entry Level: New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
