Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care assessment, planning, and intervention in fast-paced medical-surgical environment
- Administer medications and treatments with precise documentation in Epic EMR system
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Mentor junior nursing staff through our robust preceptorship program
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety protocols
- Participate in emergency response drills and rapid deployment scenarios
Qualifications
- Current California RN license (BRN) with BLS certification
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in medical-surgical setting
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and electronic documentation systems
- ACLS certification required (PALS certification a plus)
- Excellent critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to thrive in collaborative environment
