Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by gathering data pertinent to the patient's health or illness history.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive nursing care plan based on physical assessment, medical history, and patient needs.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms, changes in condition, and reactions to medications or treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and families.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
