Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease prevention.
- Assist in the admission and discharge processes for patients.
- Respond to emergent situations calmly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (ADN or BSN) required.
- Current, active RN license in the State of Maryland.
- Passing score on the NCLEX examination.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Willingness to be flexible with shifts and units based on hospital needs.
