Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Participate in shift handovers and safety initiatives
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Active Texas RN license or eligibility (NCLEX results pending)
- CPR/BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Commitment to compassionate patient-centered care
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical environments
- Willingness to complete our structured residency program
