Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across diverse units during overnight hours
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform emergency interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and treatment outcomes in electronic health records
- Mentor new staff and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards
- Respond to critical situations with calm professionalism and rapid clinical judgment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous education programs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Florida
- BSN or Associate's degree in Nursing with current enrollment in BSN program
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience (night shift preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously
