Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in emergency, medical-surgical, and specialty units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and progress in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning
- Implement infection control protocols and safety procedures
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Provide patient education on health management and disease prevention
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Active RN license in Washington DC (or ability to obtain)
- Pass NCLEX exam (or scheduled within 30 days)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
- No prior nursing experience required – we train new graduates!
