Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care and monitor vital signs in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and discharge planning.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and maintain a safe, clean patient environment.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California (or eligible for licensure via NCLEX).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of the NCLEX-RN examination with passing scores.
- CPR (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
