Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions, escalating care as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team under pressure.
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and commitment to patient advocacy.
