Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing team or physician.
- Provide compassionate direct patient care, including hygiene assistance and mobility support.
- Document patient history, symptoms, and treatment responses accurately and timely.
- Collaborate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
